The Who & What Behind Old Tech. Design

Where to begin? Like many aspiring artists and entrepreneurs the grass roots of OTD lead to a garage full of possibilities and ideas. Oh and not to be forgotten, a chainsaw! It was 2011 when I, Zach Gardner, started salvaging trees that were being removed by local tree crews and slabbing them with my Alaskan Mill to produce some amazing slabs. At the time I had a small garage shop that consisted mostly of metal working machinery like Bridgeport Mills and a Logan Lathe except for a bandsaw and table saw. After slabbing and stock piling wood to dry for close to 18 months I started getting wood that was dry and able to be worked, thus started my furniture designing career.
